Booking Terms

These terms apply when you reserve a room or apartment with us through this website.
Making a booking
A booking is confirmed once payment has been received and we have sent you a confirmation quoting your reference, which begins BLV-. Until then the room is not held.
All rates are quoted per night in US Dollars and cover the room and the stated number of guests. Breakfast is included with the hotel rooms. The studio flats and apartments are self-catering, with breakfast available on request.
Paying
At checkout you choose the currency:
- US Dollars — you pay the quoted amount exactly.
- Leones — converted at the rate shown at the time of booking. Mobile Money is settled in Leones only.
You then choose how much to pay:

Payments are processed by Flot. We accept bank card, Mobile Money and the Flot app.
Cancellation
Paid in full: cancel more than 48 hours before your check-in date and you receive a full refund. Inside 48 hours, or if you do not arrive, the first night is charged and the balance refunded.
Paid a deposit: the 30% deposit is non-refundable at any point. Nothing further is charged if you cancel more than 48 hours ahead.
To cancel, email info@belvoir-estates.com or call +232 77 777 063 quoting your BLV reference. Refunds are returned by the method you paid with and typically take five to ten working days to appear.
Changing a booking
We will do our best to move your dates subject to availability. Ask us more than 48 hours before check-in and there is no charge to change, though a different rate may apply to the new dates. Changes inside 48 hours are treated as a cancellation.
Arrival and departure
- Check-in from 2:00 PM. The front desk is staffed 24 hours, so a late arrival is fine if you let us know.
- Check-out by 11:00 AM. Later check-out can often be arranged on request, subject to availability, and may be charged.
We may ask for photographic identification on arrival.
During your stay
- Belvoir is a non-smoking property. A dedicated outdoor smoking area is provided. Smoking in a room may incur a cleaning charge.
- Please respect other guests, particularly between 10:00 PM and 7:00 AM.
- Guests are responsible for damage to the room or its contents beyond ordinary wear.
- Only the guests named on the booking may stay in the room. Tell us in advance if that changes, as rates depend on occupancy.
Extended stays
Monthly and annual rates are quoted separately and are not booked through this website. Terms for extended stays are agreed in writing at the time. Please contact us.
Our liability
We take reasonable care of the property and its guests. We are not liable for loss or damage to personal belongings left unattended. Please use the safe where one is provided.
If circumstances outside our control prevent us from honouring a booking, we will tell you as soon as we can and refund everything you have paid. That refund is the limit of our liability in those circumstances.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Sierra Leone.
